I wanted to make something a little Mario Kart inspired crossed with RC cars so I went with a miniature/macro feel for the camera setup. As soon as I started playing around with the particle emitter + metaballs I knew the smoke would be a great addition too. It was satisfying getting it to finally loop perfectly in the animation!
