30 years ago, as a 3D designer, you were a person who could do things that were unimaginable. you had the status of a magician. Once YouTube made 3D design possible for everyone, you were just another wannabe designer. With AI you will soon be a nobody, lost in the noise of the crowd. In the future, AI will bring 3D designers as much joy as brushing our teeth or going to poop. If I were to give a young person advice today about what they should become when they grow up, it would be something to do with crafts. There is simply more joy in building a real chair that you can sit on instead of pushing pixels around.

Been there. Done that. GPT is awesome, but there is still a lot it can't do. If you're doing simple toy problem scripts that have already been written it is fine, but try doing a real-world and sophisticated and you will hit is limitations very fast. Agree with Big Boss that artists love modelling. I could do everything on Midjourney and Dall-E, but I don't, because I enjoy using my talent far more.

OMG... This announcement video... The Blender Market page, all of this could only have been created by someone who doesn't have the slightest notion of Designer, Layout, Colors...
Someone without the slightest aesthetic sense...
The bright colors almost hurt your eyes...
The Blue Background with Red Font...
Bad choice in fonts... Words with all letters in capitals Shouting...
Emojis and more Emojis... for a moment I thought I had gone back in time and found myself in the old Geocities Yahoo and Teen Blogs...
