As you probably noticed, the Blender.org websites we under attack for several days this week. The 1.5 billion malicious request overloaded the infrastructure, which led to long outages on all platforms, including the main site, the Blender Cloud and the Projects site. The Foundation did not receive any extortion communication, and the motives remain unclear, although speculation is of course abundant.
