The massive Blender 4.0 release has been out for 3 short weeks, and the Blender developers have already graced us with two corrective releases, this latest one bringing the total number of bug fixes since the initial release to 52!
This is a corrective release. It is highly recommended to upgrade as it only contains bug fixes (no new features), making Blender more stable and it is fully compatible with projects using 4.0.

While Blender 4.0 is not an "LTS" release such as 3.3 LTS and 3.6LTS (all of which will be supported and updated for two years), the Blender Institute can still elect to have one or two corrective releases for "traditional" versions, a welcome burst of support.
