I just finished video for our Kickstarter campaign. It was made in the Blender and rendered with Eevee. Thanks to his interactivity, I could prepare even 2D part in the Blender. Sketches was projected on the simplified models. Cuts and another edits was made in the DaVinci Resolve.

Because Blender has great stereoscopic support, I also prepared short 3D version (great with Oculus Go :) )

  1. This looks great! Is there any "making" video or tutorial available? Did you work on it alone? How long did it take you? I'd like to know more about this awesome render.

  2. Hello and thanks. No making video exist for this. But it is very simple. I just get sketch in the layers from our illustrator. Every layer was projected on the plane with UV Project and later modeled to some simple shape. You can see it on the picture above. Character animation was combination of classic skeleton and shape animation. Whole video (2 minutes) take about 170 hours.
