Create working night vision goggles in Blender

Here is a fun way to create something weird - night vision goggles.

I experimented a bit around with transparent materials and found it interesting that you could boost the brightness of rays by using RGB values higher than 1. To put this all into a usable context, i made night vision goggles out of it. And all of that without using the compositor :)

This trick does not work with completely red or blue rays, therefore try to avoid using fully saturated colours when using this material - in general a good idea ;)
